Job summary

York City School District is seeking a custodial staff member to maintain clean, safe facilities. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks and clearances (Act 34, Act 151, FBI) self-paid.
• Drug screening self-paid.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building and grounds in a clean, safe, sanitary condition.
• Replace broken or wet ceiling tiles.
• Wash windows and clean washbasins, toilets and urinals; refill supplies.
• Patch and paint walls; move furniture and equipment as directed.
• Assist in cafeteria cleaning tasks and maintain grounds (mowing, sweeping, snow removal).
• Unlock doors and check building for security before leaving.
