Job summary

Knoxville's Community Development Corporation is looking for a Maintenance Technician I responsible for cleaning and maintaining KCDC buildings and grounds. This role entails performing general janitorial tasks to ensure safe and clean environments for residents and visitors.

The ideal candidate will possess at least 1 year of custodial experience and a high school diploma. Strong communication skills and the ability to utilize cleaning tools effectively are required. An understanding of HAZMAT regulations is also essential.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of custodial experience, preferably in property maintenance.
• Ability to express ideas clearly in writing and verbally.
• Ability to handle difficult situations tactfully.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains KCDC buildings and grounds.
• Performs general cleaning of leased units.
• Assists with office equipment moves and meeting setups.
