Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation inside a building or multiple client sites. The role requires flexibility to adapt to client specifications and may include varied duties across floors, restrooms, and common areas.

Responsibilities include floor care, restroom upkeep, trash removal, window cleaning, and occasional heavy equipment use. On-the-job training is provided; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of six months of janitorial experience.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces: sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrances.
• Empty trash cans and use a compactor for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
