Snowshoe Mountain in West Virginia is seeking a Facilities Custodian to maintain clean, safe spaces and assist the lodging team. This flex role runs 9–11 months per year with a start window from late November to early December.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and prior custodial or janitorial experience. Perks include medical benefits, free skiing, 401k plan, and various employee discounts on dining, retail, and mountain activities.

Pay: $15 per hour

Start Date: The end of November and beginning of December with positions available throughout the season.

Why Work with Us? Are you someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment? We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Custodian to join our team and ensure our facilities are kept in top condition. This role is crucial in maintaining a welcoming and efficient workspace for our staff and visitors, while also providing support to the lodging department by assisting in all aspects of facility custodian duties. You will be responsible for maintaining common area restrooms through prompt and scheduled cleanings, stocking supplies, and conducting regular inspections of our properties.

Job Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces in offices, restrooms, and common areas.
• Trash Removal: Responsible for collecting and disposing of trash and recycling materials.
• Maintenance Support: Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing leaks, and reporting larger maintenance issues.
• Inventory Management: Maintain adequate supplies of cleaning products and toiletries.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Experience:

Experience in custodial or janitorial services. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong attention to detail and dedication to cleanliness. Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
