Job summary

Snowshoe Mountain is seeking seasonal staff for on-mountain roles with affordable employee housing available. Pay starts at $16 per hour, with positions beginning late November and continuing through the season at Snowshoe, WV.

Shifts may require early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Benefits include Medical coverage, free skiing and snowboarding privileges at Alterra resorts plus Ikon Pass discounts, 401k eligibility for adults, and various dining, retail, and pro-deal perks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred restaurant/expeditor experience.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communication between kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
• Inspect each dish for accuracy, presentation, and portion size before it leaves the kitchen.
• Prioritize tickets/orders and keep track of multiple tables/orders at once.
• Ensure food safety standards are maintained during handling and plating.
• Communicate with servers about any changes, delays, or special requests.
• Assist with garnishing and final touches on dishes when needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized expo station.

• Previous experience in a restaurant, preferably as an expeditor or in another kitchen/front-of-house role.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and kitchen operations.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs if needed.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
