Qualifications

• No specific education requirement; 3–6 months training or experience preferred.
• May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties and follow the daily schedule.
• Handle Hazardous Waste: collect, classify, sort, store, ship/receive, label, recycle, and package hazardous waste.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment and maintain assigned areas.
• Report incidents or hazards to supervisor and follow safety rules.
• Work in a team, take direction, and complete tasks in a professional manner.
• Maintain clean work areas and participate in punch-list items with shift lead.
