Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a facilities maintenance associate to organize, implement, and direct upkeep of Corps buildings, grounds and vehicles, including pickups and deliveries. You will keep the facility clean and in good order, coordinate with staff, and assist with program needs.

Must have a California driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to follow fleet safety policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school graduate or equivalent.
• Must read, write, and communicate in English; bilingual English/Spanish helpful.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to custodian/maintenance schedules and keep facilities clean and safe.
• Assist with donations pickups and deliveries using TSA vehicle when needed.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and report landscape or maintenance needs to supervisors.
• Ensure doors, windows, and safety systems are secured and functioning.
