Job summary

The Salvation Army Cathedral City Corps is seeking a part-time Custodian/Driver to organize and direct maintenance of buildings, grounds and vehicles, and to perform pickups and deliveries as required. You will keep facilities clean and orderly, work with staff to support custodial and driving needs, and assist with food pantry operations under supervision.

Responsibilities include daily cleaning tasks, vehicle maintenance logging, and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must read, write, and communicate in English; bilingual English/Spanish helpful.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Ability to interact with children and vulnerable adults while maintaining boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, clean, and organize Corps buildings, grounds, and vehicles; perform pickups and deliveries as needed.
• Utilize a TSA vehicle for donation pickups and related tasks.
• Assist with food pantry duties and inventory as directed by Corps Officers.
• Secure doors/windows daily and manage safety procedures.
