Job summary

Coryell County Land & Abstract is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping and Grounds Care worker to maintain county facilities. Responsibilities include cleaning floors, restrooms, walls, and public areas, with attention to safety and sanitation.

The role requires following safety procedures, using cleaning equipment and chemicals, and coordinating with departments to ensure clean, presentable spaces for staff and visitors throughout the county.

Qualifications

• Must communicate clearly in writing and orally.
• Ability to use tact with the public and other County departments.
• Follow safe work practices and safety policies.
• Capable of operating cleaning equipment and handling chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties: sweeping, mopping, buffing, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, trash removal.
• Disinfect and stock restrooms with supplies.
• Clean/sanitize walls, blinds, handrails and doors.
• Wear proper PPE and follow safety protocols while cleaning.
• Sanitize surfaces and use ULV fogger as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness at locations where courts or county business operates.
