Job summary

US&S, Inc. is seeking a Janitor/Custodian to keep client facilities clean, organized and safe. You will perform cleaning, dusting, mopping, bathroom sanitation, trash removal and basic floor care as needed.

This role emphasizes safety, infection control, and teamwork with coworkers and supervisors. Strong reliability and ability to follow procedures are essential; overtime may be required to meet client schedules.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass background screening.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings as required.
• Authorization to work in the US per client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all assigned work areas, including bathrooms, sinks, toilets and fixtures.
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors and stairways; dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Empty trash and maintain tidy workspaces; report hazards to supervisors.
• Follow safety procedures; use cleaning chemicals per SDS and training.
• Assist with floor care tasks as needed and support other janitors.
