Job summary

Ssymca seeks a Custodian to support the Hale Y and ELC in Quincy, MA. The role involves cleaning, disinfecting, and preparing facilities on a scheduled basis, with attention to safety and timely communication with the Facility Director.

The position requires basic cleaning knowledge, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Snow removal duties may include after-hours work as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of cleaning processes.
• Ability to develop positive, effective working relationships with staff, volunteers and members; strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect all areas of the building including locker rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Launder towels as required.
• Communicate facility issues to the Facility Director in a timely manner.
• Be available for snow removal before, during, and after hours of operation.
