Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian in Massachusetts to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across assigned sites. You will perform janitorial duties, operate cleaning equipment, and support daily schedules while adhering to safety rules and procedures.

The role includes hazardous waste responsibilities, reporting incidents, and working with a team. Candidates should be able to lift up to 35 pounds and have a valid driver's license if required for locations.

Qualifications

• No formal education required; 3–6 months training or experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license may be required; MVR checks.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties according to the daily schedule.
• Handle hazardous waste tasks: collection, classification, storage, shipping, labeling, recycling, packaging.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Maintain clean work areas; follow safety rules and procedures.
• Collaborate with team; take direction from supervision.
• Drive to various locations as needed.
