Job summary

Coastal Medical Transportation Systems in Quincy, MA is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness and safety of the facility. Under the Facilities Manager, you will perform routine cleaning, assist with minor repairs, and ensure supplies are stocked for a fully on-site, full-time role.

Responsibilities include cleaning common areas, restroom sanitation, floor care, waste management, and inventory of supplies. A valid driver’s license is required to perform duties and ensure safe operations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of janitorial maintenance or related field experience.
• Knowledge of general maintenance methods and safety precautions.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and janitorial duties throughout common areas of the facility.
• Clean, disinfect, and sanitize restrooms.
• Maintain clean and orderly floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and floor-care tasks.
• Empty and dispose of trash and recycling from designated areas.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.
• Assist with minor building repairs and general maintenance as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow safety procedures when handling cleaning products and equipment.
