Job summary

Native American Connections is seeking a dedicated Janitor to maintain cleanliness of NAC facilities in Phoenix, AZ and support maintenance staff. The role requires strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities include cleaning common areas and vacated rooms, reporting repairs, managing supplies, and assisting with maintenance tasks. On-call availability for evenings or weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• One year janitorial or custodial experience preferred.
• Experience with cleaning equipment and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean all community and common areas, remove trash daily.
• Clean rooms or units after vacancy.
• Report maintenance needs to supervisor.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Ensure NAC equipment is cared for and maintained.
• Assist maintenance technicians with tasks.
• Be available for evenings or weekends on-call.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.
