Job summary

Glacial Community YMCA in Oconomowoc, WI is seeking a part-time Custodian to keep our facilities clean, safe, and welcoming for members and staff. This role supports the Y’s mission by ensuring high standards of cleanliness and maintenance across all spaces and equipment.

The ideal candidate has commercial cleaning experience, can read labels and operate cleaning tools safely, and is willing to obtain required certifications within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Commercial cleaning and general maintenance experience preferred.
• Certifications that must be obtained and maintained within first 90 days: Child Abuse Prevention, Blood borne Pathogens, Hazard Communication.
• Ability to read labels and instructions.
• Willingness to attend meetings, training, and obtain additional certification as requested.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of YMCA facilities and spaces.
• Ensure equipment and facilities are well-maintained and welcoming.
