Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in custodial or janitorial tasks preferred.
• Must pass physical exam and performance test.
• Valid driver’s license and auto liability insurance required.
• Background screenings are part of the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize hallways, restrooms, offices, ceilings, walls, windows, blinds, and light fixtures.
• Vacuum, spot-clean, and shampoo carpets.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, strip, seal, wax, polish, and buff floors.
• Empty waste/recycling receptacles and dispose properly.
• Install, refill, and maintain dispensers for paper products and soap.
• Replace bulbs and ceiling tiles as needed.
• Perform deep cleaning and mold remediation, including water extraction.
• Respond to custodial work orders promptly.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and restroom stocks.
• Move and arrange furniture for events or everyday needs.
• Operate and maintain custodial equipment; perform minor repairs.
• Assist with light demolition or removal tasks as required.
• Perform landscaping tasks: mowing, trimming, weeding, and watering.
• Wash exterior furniture and manage outdoor litter.
• Remove snow and treat pathways; conduct basic walkway maintenance.
