Job summary

Chesapeake Spice Co Llc is seeking a reliable custodian/porter to maintain cleanliness of the building, offices, and facilities in Belcamp, MD. You will service restrooms, sanitize kitchens, and perform routine maintenance while following safety and chemical handling guidelines.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, windows, and surfaces; setting up spaces for events; and reporting repairs. Ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and work with cleaning chemicals is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous custodian or porter experience preferred.
• Ability to work with chemical cleaners and industrial cleaning products.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Keep building, grounds, plant, and offices clean and in orderly condition.
• Service, clean, and supply all restrooms.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain kitchen sinks, floors, and drains.
• Perform routine maintenance and report repairs as needed.
• Monitor building security by locking doors after hours and following safety procedures.
• Dust and clean furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and follow chemical handling procedures.
• Set up facilities for events and meetings and arrange furnishings as required.
• Adhere to procedures for waste separation and recycling.
