Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance/Janitorial team member to uphold safety and cleanliness for members and staff. You will move carts, maintain restrooms and floors, and support club operations with a positive, team‑oriented attitude.

The role involves moving and cleaning across the club, operating cleaning equipment, and adhering to safety standards. You will be part of a fast-paced retail environment focused on member satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
• Prior retail/wholesale experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides members with prompt and courteous service.
• Maintains high standards of safety and sanitation for members and team members.
• Gathers and returns carts and flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance.
• Restocks maintenance/ cleaning supplies and keeps supply areas clean and organized.
• Operates floor scrubber, trash compactor and cardboard baler machines safely and efficiently.
