Job summary

The Sununu Youth Services Center in Manchester, NH seeks a Building Services Supervisor to oversee custodial, building and grounds maintenance, and laundry operations. The role aligns with the agency's Practice Model and mission, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.

Minimum qualifications include a combination of education and experience in cleaning/maintenance and some supervisory exposure. A valid driver's license and statewide travel access are required.

Qualifications

• Equivalent combination of 2 years of education and experience after completion of high school, in cleaning and maintenance of an institution or public building.
• Supervisory experience preferred but not required; ability to supervise daily tasks and evaluate performance.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and assigns daily and short-range work of building and grounds staff.
• Inspects work areas for quality and productivity and supports evaluations.
• Maintains inventory of supplies and requisitions as needed.
• Performs and supervises laundry operations and distribution of linen.
• Performs routine custodial duties and upkeep of floors, furniture, and fixtures.
• Remains aware of safety and communicates issues to supervisors.
• Trains new employees in cleaning and light maintenance duties.
• Oversees snow/ice removal and outdoor landscaping tasks.
