The State of New Hampshire, Department of Health and Human Services, Division for Children, Youth, and Families has a full-time vacancy for Building Cleaning Worker II.
To serve as a team or crew lead, and/or shift point person and to independently provide a full range of cleaning, custodial or janitorial duties associated with the care, cleaning, and maintenance of the Sununu Youth Services Center; may include assignment to multiple units, areas or locations.
YOUR EXPERIENCE COUNTS : Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.
Knowledge of the methods and practices of cleaning services in a large complex, health facility, or building. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. Knowledge of quality standards for health, environment and safety. Ability to read and write and to prepare both written and oral reports. Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, mathematical operations). Ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to express ideas clearly, both orally and in writing. Ability to plan, train and provide work direction to others. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. Must be willing to maintain appearance appropriate to assigned duties and responsibilities as determined by the agency appointing authority.
