Job summary

Concordia College invites applications for a full-time Custodial and Facilities Supervisor in Moorhead, MN. The role supervises custodial staff, manages deliveries, maintenance, and laundry operations to ensure safe, clean, and efficient Dining Services facilities.

Schedule is Monday–Friday with rare weekends; CDL and ServSafe certifications are preferred. Benefits include extensive health coverage and tuition discounts.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in custodial, facilities, maintenance, delivery, or related operations.
• Experience providing work direction, training, or supervision to others.
• Current ServSafe or comparable food safety certification, or ability to obtain within three months.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Current DOT medical card or ability to obtain within three months.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff with general cleaning and maintenance of Dining Service facilities.
• Place work orders with internal technicians and arrange service with external technicians.
• Assist with loading and timely delivery of food products to contract customers in Fargo-Margo area; plan delivery routes.
• Order custodial supplies, chemicals, and paper products; assist with selection of custodial equipment.
• Ensure consistent supplies of clean laundry (aprons, towels, etc.).
• Monitor vehicles for maintenance; coordinate service as needed.
• Coordinate pickup of orders from secondary vendors.
• Attend Management/Supervisor meetings; other duties as assigned.
