Job summary

PRIDE Industries is seeking a Custodial Supervisor to oversee daily custodial services and staff, ensuring facilities are clean and safe. The role requires supervision experience and strong leadership within a disability-conscious work environment.

Applicants should have 3+ years in custodial services, experience with OSHA regulations, and solid communication and coaching abilities. A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in custodial services and/or building maintenance, including supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of Cal OSHA/OSHA regulations is preferred.
• Ability to supervise, coach, and develop staff to meet production goals.
• Strong communication and customer service skills in a business English context.
• Proficiency with basic computer software (word processing, spreadsheets, databases).
• Ability to prioritize tasks, solve operational problems, and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates, directs, and schedules custodial staff and subcontract personnel.
• Maintains professional relationships with site customers, suppliers, vendors and employees.
• Supervises employees; hires, trains, develops, and reviews performance.
• Conducts facility walks, quality control inspections, safety audits, and provides feedback.
• Schedules and prioritizes tasks, ensuring adherence to procedures and safety rules.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
