Job summary

ASR International Corporation is seeking a Cost Estimator to provide design technical support for NAVFAC Northwest. The Cost Estimator will prepare and review cost estimates, perform quantity take-offs, and support cost/schedule/risk analysis for facilities projects.

Based in the Puget Sound – Bremerton Area, WA, this full-time on-site position requires U.S. citizenship, at least three years of estimating experience, proficiency with Excel and estimating software, and strong analytical and

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required (Green Card holders are not eligible).
• Pass a T1 security background check.
• Minimum of three (3) years of construction estimating experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cost estimating principles for facilities projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and estimating software; AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform facilities cost estimating including basis of cost documentation, industry and market research, quantity take-offs, and constructability reviews.
• Conduct cost/schedule/risk analysis and life-cycle cost analysis of alternative systems.
• Review contractor cost proposals and support independent government estimates.
• Prepare detailed cost documentation and technical reports.
• Coordinate with design teams and government stakeholders on cost-related issues.
• Support project status reporting requirements.
