Job summary

ASR International Corporation seeks a Cost Estimator to provide design technical support services for NAVFAC Northwest. The role involves preparing and reviewing cost estimates, performing quantity take-offs, and supporting cost/schedule/risk analysis for facilities projects.

Responsibilities include reviewing cost proposals, preparing detailed cost documents, and coordinating with design teams and government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required; Green Card holders are not eligible.
• Pass a T1 security background check.
• Minimum of three years of construction estimating experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and estimating software; AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

Position Summary

ASR International Corporation is seeking Cost Estimators to provide Design Technical Support services for NAVFAC Northwest. The Cost Estimator will prepare and review cost estimates, perform quantity take-offs, and support cost/schedule/risk analysis for facilities projects.

• Perform facilities cost estimating including basis of cost documentation, industry and market research, quantity take-offs, and constructability reviews.
• Conduct cost/schedule/risk analysis and life-cycle cost analysis of alternative systems.
• Review contractor cost proposals and support independent government estimates.
• Prepare detailed cost documentation and technical reports.
• Coordinate with design teams and government stakeholders on cost-related issues.
• Support project status reporting requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required (Green Card holders are not eligible to apply).
• Must be able to pass a T1 security background check.
• Minimum of three (3) years of construction estimating experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cost estimating principles for facilities projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and estimating software; AutoCAD experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in engineering or construction management.
• Experience with NAVFAC, DoD, or federal cost estimating.
• Familiarity with UFC cost criteria and parametric estimating tools.
