Job summary

The City of Atlanta is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to manage daily facilities operations and projects across multiple locations. This role serves as the central point for service requests, work orders, preventive maintenance, custodial, grounds, security, and building systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years facilities operations experience.
• Associate degree may substitute for up to 2 years of required experience.
• Valid state driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, prioritize, assign, track and close facilities work orders in CMMS.
• Coordinate facilities services across locations including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and security.
• Inspect facilities and monitor contractor performance for scope, schedule, and safety.
• Coordinate vendors and contractors on scopes, schedules, invoices, and contract compliance.
• Assist with renovations, moves, and project closeouts; review plans and specifications.
• Communicate with management and stakeholders; prepare status reports and updates.
