Job summary

Saks Fifth Avenue in Atlanta is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to handle minor maintenance tasks and coordinate major repairs, keeping records on work orders. You will participate in store activities such as floor moves and personal appearances as directed by Store Management.

The role requires at least 1 year in facilities operations, the ability to multi-task, strong organization, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of facilities operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate general facilities activities for the entire plant.
• Supervise renovations and remodels.
• Maintain lighting and ballast supplies including change bulbs as necessary.
• Supervise housekeeping staff to ensure maintenance of Store Standards.
• Conduct Facilities Audits and Inspections.
• Perform Store Opening Duties (HVAC, lights, doors).
• Perform POS / Scanner Repairs and basic POS Maintenance.
• Perform touch up painting and repairs to fixtures, carpet, flooring, hinges, locks.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Support Floor moves and fixture / cash wrap movement.
• Respond to store emergency calls and situations.
• Monitor trash hauling compactor.
• Be a Member of Store Safety Committee.
• Maintain and track work orders, repairs, and purchase orders, securing authorization as needed.
