Job summary

Sanford Behavioral Health is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to oversee on-site operations across Grand Rapids and Marne campuses. This full-time role ensures safe, efficient building operations and coordinates maintenance, vendors, and safety compliance.

You will manage work orders, inventory, room setups, and minor repairs while communicating with staff, patients, and visitors. A high school diploma and comfort with basic office software are required; healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in facilities operations and Facility Management, including coordination of maintenance, repairs, and vendor services.
• Strong communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with staff, patients, families, and external partners.
• Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and respond to urgent facility needs.
• Basic proficiency with office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, work-order systems) and comfort learning new facility-related tools.
• Prior experience in facilities coordination, maintenance support, or building operations, ideally in healthcare or behavioral health settings.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certification in facilities or maintenance is a plus.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, such as walking the campus, lifting light to moderate loads, and using standard tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily building and grounds maintenance.
