In this role, you will exercise independence to streamline departmental workflows, optimize work order dispatch systems, manage accounts payable/revenue processes, assist with budget analysis, and coordinate department projects and events.

Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8am-5pm.

What You’ll Do
  • Systems & Dispatch Optimization: Serve as the primary coordinator for dispatch workflows, transitioning work order intake to optimize maintenance operations and managing facility access/work order software systems.
  • Financial & Budgeting Support: Manage A/P and revenue payment cycles, input budget information, perform expense trend analysis, and assist division managers with budget projections.
  • Project & Administrative Coordination: Plan and organize department projects, order supplies, support RFPs/contracts, manage record retention schedules, and handle CORA requests.
  • Customer & Community Engagement: Deliver professional customer service to employees and the public for room rentals, badge access, and facility inquiries—including administrative support during the annual Fair and Rodeo.
Why You’ll Love Working With Us
  • Purpose-Driven Work: Our mission is to provide high-quality programs for a safe, clean, productive, and well-maintained physical environment across Eagle County buildings, grounds, and fairgrounds.
  • Dynamic & Engaging Responsibilities: No two days are the same—you’ll balance financial analysis, tech/software coordination, customer interaction, and special community projects.
  • Supportive & Collaborative Culture: Work closely with directors, project managers, maintenance staff, and the local community in a team-oriented environment anchored by clear core values and public service.
  • Opportunity for Ownership: Take charge of building efficient workflow processes and software integrations that directly impact operational success county-wide.
What you’ll bring
  • Experience: 4+ years of related experience in budget control or accounting within public works, construction, architecture, or property management (5+ years preferred), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Technical & Financial Skills: Strong grasp of basic accounting principles, advanced bookkeeping, software troubleshooting, and spreadsheets/databases (Google Suite experience preferred).
  • Adaptability & Organization: Proven ability to balance multiple priorities, pivot quickly between tasks, and maintain exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
  • Communication & Service Mindset: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact positively with the public and internal teams (Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus!).
