Job summary

UC San Diego Health seeks a System Administrator (Construction Systems) to support the health system’s construction management technology across three hospital campuses. You will partner with project managers, planners, finance, and vendors to ensure compliant, GAAP-aligned workflows in Trimble Unity Construct.

The role focuses on system administration, process design, reporting, training, and governance, with a strong emphasis on healthcare construction operations and contract lifecycle

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Three (3+) years of experience supporting construction management systems in a healthcare construction environment or equivalent education/experience.
• Proven experience as a construction software administrator, including system configuration, workflows, and reporting.
• Direct experience with invoice and contract lifecycle processes in construction environments.
• Strong understanding of California GAAP, construction accounting practices, and internal controls.
• Knowledge of California contracting laws and experience working within regulated or public-sector environments.

Responsibilities

• Construction Systems Administration for Trimble Unity Construct and related platforms with focus on system health, security, and upgrades.
• Design, document, and implement construction business processes; develop GAAP-compliant invoice workflows and contract intake workflows.
• Develop and deliver standard and ad-hoc reports for capital leadership and finance teams.
• Provide training and user support for Project Managers, Planners, and external vendors.
• Collaborate on SOPs, governance, and change management; support audits with documentation and evidence.
