Job summary

Heartland Restaurant Group, a Dunkin’ franchise, seeks a Facilities and Construction Manager to lead maintenance and oversee remodel projects across its operating area. You will supervise Facilities Technicians and contractors, balance repairs with preventive work, and ensure safety and quality across sites.

The role requires strong field skills in carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and restaurant equipment, plus expertise in CMMS/Procore/AutoCAD/BIM.

Qualifications

Five+ years in commercial facilities, restaurant maintenance, building maintenance, or construction.
Supervisory experience leading technicians, construction workers, or subcontractors.
Hands-on skills in carpentry and general building repair; able to troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and restaurant equipment.
Ability to read construction drawings and approved plans; manage multiple priorities and communicate with leaders and vendors.

Responsibilities

Lead Facilities Technicians and construction crew; schedule, coach, train, and evaluate staff.
Prioritize work orders, preventive maintenance, repairs, and remodel activities to support operations.
Oversee remodels and construction: schedules, crews, materials, safety, and quality; inspect work and turn over.
Coordinate inspections and ensure code compliance; track spending and timelines; report progress to leadership.
Maintain records for inspections, warranties, daily work, and project completion; manage vendor relations and safety.
