Job summary

New Belgium Brewing Company Inc and Bell’s seek a facilities foreman to oversee daily inspections, coordinate schedules, and lead contract personnel at our Asheville, NC site.

You will design and install facility projects, manage plumbing, electrical and HVAC maintenance, and ensure safety and compliance with building codes. Strong leadership and budgeting skills are essential for this full-time role.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of construction foreman or facilities maintenance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• Knowledge of construction techniques and terminology.
• Understanding of building codes and specifications.
• Ability to plan and organize work and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections, plan and organize activities, review schedule, update changes, ensure documentation and record keeping, place material and supply orders.
• Lead and manage contract personnel.
• Designs and installs special facility projects as required.
• Developed ability to perform general plumbing, electrical repairs/maintenance, and preventative repairs/maintenance including refrigeration systems, HVAC systems, appliances, light fixtures, and doors.
• Operates machinery and equipment as necessary.
• Communicate construction related information and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
