Job summary

Mosaic Life Care in Missouri is seeking a Compliance & Safety Coordinator to lead the facilities' compliance program and safety initiatives. This role ensures adherence to NFPA, JCAHO, CMS, OSHA, and state requirements across system facilities and construction departments.

You will develop training, maintain regulatory records, oversee CMMS inspections, and coordinate collaborations with internal teams and external agencies to strengthen safety culture.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in a relevant engineering or safety field.
• 5+ years of compliance program management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the compliance and safety program for the facilities.
• Facilitate regular safety meetings and provide guidance on best practices and regulatory updates.
• Coordinate training on occupational, fire, and life safety systems; including new hire and contractor orientation.
• Maintain and update departmental documentation, processes, and procedures; draft standards and action plans.
• Manage records for Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA, EPA, NFPA; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee inspections and CMMS-related tasks; assess risk and drive workflow improvements.
• Maintain Joint Commission SOC documentation and other authorities having jurisdiction.
• Support policies including pre-work assessments, infection control risk assessments, and work permits.
• Conduct inspections to verify compliance and identify improvements.
• Serve as liaison for committees; coordinate with other departments and external stakeholders.
