Job summary

Academy District 20 in Colorado Springs seeks a Compliance and Grounds Facilities Supervisor to oversee district environmental compliance, fire code inspections, and grounds maintenance coordination.

You will serve as primary contact with local and state agencies, supervise hazards programs (AHERA/EPA), and coordinate inspections and maintenance across district facilities while leading a small team and ensuring safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• High school graduate - high school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or required as indicated in the job posting.
• 3 years supervisory experience.
• Work related experience in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Colorado Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Analyze problems, plan safe repairs, and coordinate materials and repairs.
• Assist sites in meeting fire code compliance.
• Attend coordination meetings and inspect environmental projects.
• Coordinate and inspect underground fuel storage tanks.
• Coordinate contracts for fire protection and life safety inspections.
• Develop environmental project specifications and plans.
• Provide training and procedures for district personnel.
• Direct or perform emergency repairs and monitor conditions.
• Manage hazardous materials handling and disposal per regulations.
