Epic is looking for an Operations Center Technician based in Madison, WI, to ensure business continuity and safety across its global campuses. The role involves monitoring alerts, managing security, and coordinating emergency responses to disruptions.

The ideal candidate has experience in security operations and excellent communication skills, with a willingness to work in high-pressure environments. Relocation assistance is available, and COVID-19 vaccination is required.

Location & Relocation

Position based on our campus in Madison, WI. Relocation to area required. Recruitment is national and financial relocation assistance is provided.

Responsibilities

As an Operations Center Technician, you will maintain business continuity across Epic's global campuses by monitoring real-time alerts, managing access and security systems, and overseeing building operations from our Facilities Command Center. You will identify and respond to issues using video feeds and system data, coordinate emergency responses to disruptions such as natural disasters or power outages, and work closely with internal teams and emergency services to ensure a safe environment and restore normal operations quickly and effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience in security operations, emergency response, or a related high-volume field preferred
• Strong situational awareness and decision‑making skills
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities
• Ability to work in a high‑pressure, real‑time environment
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (relocation assistance available)
• Openness to 2nd and 3rd shift, as well as weekend days
