Epic is seeking an Operations Center Technician to maintain business continuity across our global campuses. Located in Madison, WI, you will monitor real-time alerts, manage access and security systems, and oversee building operations.

Ideal candidates possess strong situational awareness and decision-making skills, excel in communication and coordination, and can work in a high-pressure environment. Comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance are provided.

Position located at Epic’s campus in Madison, WI. Relocation to the area is required. Epic provides financial assistance for relocation.

Overview

As an Operations Center Technician, you will help maintain business continuity across Epic’s global campuses by monitoring real‑time alerts, managing access and security systems, and overseeing building operations from our Facilities Command Center. You will identify and respond to issues using video feeds and system data, coordinate emergency responses when disruptions such as natural disasters or power outages occur, and work closely with internal teams and emergency services to ensure a safe environment and restore normal operations quickly and effectively.

Qualifications

• Strong situational awareness and decision‑making skills
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities
• Ability to work in a high‑pressure, real‑time environment
• Experience or interest in security operations, emergency response, or a related high‑volume field
• Openness to 2nd and 3rd shift, as well as weekend days
• Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (relocation assistance available)
• COVID‑19 vaccination
