Fading West is seeking a Cleaning Technician to maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment across offices, production areas, break rooms, restrooms, and common spaces in Buena Vista, CO. The role supports workplace safety, health, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Facility Cleaning: Clean and sanitize offices, conference rooms, break rooms, restrooms, locker rooms, and common areas.
• Factory Cleaning: Clean production floor areas, remove debris, keep walkways and exits clear, and follow safety requirements.
• Safety Responsibilities: Follow all safety policies, wear PPE, report hazards, use chemicals per SDS, keep exits accessible.
• Other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY

Reports To: Facilities & Maintenance Manage

Location: Fading West Buena Vista, CO

The Cleaning Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional work environment throughout office spaces, production areas, break rooms, restrooms, and common areas . This position supports workplace safety, employee health, operational efficiency, and Fading West's commitment to maintaining a clean facility for employees, visitors, and customers.

Responsibilities

Facility Cleaning

• Clean and sanitize offices, conference rooms, break rooms, restrooms, locker rooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and maintain floors and surfaces throughout the facility.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and properly dispose of waste.
• Clean windows, glass doors, and other high-touch surfaces.
• Replenish restroom and breakroom supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of entryways, hallways, and visitor areas.
• Pick up litter on facility grounds as needed.

Factory Cleaning

• Clean designated production floor areas while following all safety requirements.
• Remove debris, dust, packaging materials, and other waste from work areas.
• Assist with maintaining organized walkways, emergency exits, and designated storage locations.
• Sweep and maintain areas as assigned.
• Follow lockout/tagout and equipment safety requirements by never cleaning around moving equipment or machinery in operation.
• Safely operate equipment as needed to perform cleaning operations as assigned. Said equipment will include a scissor lift, a motorized floor cleaning machine, and ladders.

Safety Responsibilities

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Wear required PPE.
• Report safety hazards, damaged equipment, spills, and maintenance concerns promptly.
• Use cleaning chemicals according to SDS requirements and training.
• Maintain clear access to exits and emergency equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• This position is an in-person role
• This position requires safe operation of scissor lifts, motorized floor cleaning equipment, and ladders
• May require a reference check that speaks to the positive character of the applicant
• May be regularly required to stand, sit, or walk for long periods of time, lift and carry more up to 50 pounds, climb/balance on stairs or ladders, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, kneel, push, pull and reach.
