Windham Mountain Club is seeking an in-person Facilities Cleaning team member for the winter season in Windham, NY. This guest-facing role focuses on cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of the ski lodge and surrounding areas.

The position requires a friendly attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Seasonal employment with indoor duties and a strong team orientation are expected.

Qualifications

• Cleaning or janitorial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain restrooms, hallways, offices, dining areas, locker rooms, fitness facilities, and other assigned spaces.
• Assist with guest area setups, breakdowns, and special events.
• Restock supplies and maintain storage areas.
• Remove trash and transport waste to designated dumpsters.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
• Provide friendly guest assistance and address minor issues as needed.
• Follow safety procedures, timekeeping policies, and department standards.
• Maintain equipment and a professional appearance.

Work Location: In-person role based in Windham, NY.

Seasonal Position: This role is available for the winter season.

Pay: $18-21 per hour based on experience

Anticipated Start Dates: Weather-dependent, typically beginning in early December.

Conditions: This role is primarily performed indoors in a fast-paced environment.

Position Summary

The Facilities Cleaning team is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of the ski lodge and surrounding areas. This guest-facing role requires a friendly attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to keeping assigned areas clean and well maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain restrooms, hallways, offices, dining areas, locker rooms, fitness facilities, and other assigned spaces.
• Assist with guest area setups, breakdowns, and special events.
• Restock supplies and maintain storage areas.
• Remove trash and transport waste to designated dumpsters.
