Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Porter in Boca Raton, FL for full-time work. You will perform cleaning/maintenance tasks across indoor and outdoor areas, inspect work, and report to the Supervisor. The role may involve varied environments and requires adherence to safety and security procedures.

Responsibilities include cleaning, restocking supplies, and maintaining equipment, with a focus on professional service and quality results. AEDT usage may apply; travel for training is possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Custodial experience preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning and maintenance tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, and window cleaning.
• Informs Supervisor of needed supplies.
• Maintains cleaning solutions per OSHA guidelines for hazardous chemicals.
• Removes trash and assists in emergency cleaning.
• Operates new equipment safely and follows procedures.
• Maintains a friendly and professional attitude.
• Maintains sanitary supplies for assigned areas.
• Inspects areas daily and reports discrepancies to Supervisor.
• Follows security procedures at all times.
• Maintains relationships with building staff.
• Finishes and burnishes floors as required.
• Completes daily work orders.
