Job summary

Columbia Hospitality, Inc. is seeking a dedicated janitorial associate to perform cleaning tasks across assigned facilities. The role emphasizes high dusting, sanitizing, bathroom cleaning and floor care to maintain clean, sanitary conditions.

You will follow established procedures, operate both powered and non-powered equipment, and contribute to safe, welcoming public areas. Training provided; candidates should be reliable, able to lift light loads, and work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Basic operations of janitorial work.
• Basic methods, materials and equipment used in janitorial work.
• Basic safe work practices.
• The use of toxic and non-toxic chemicals (per MSDS sheets).

Responsibilities

• High Dusting around the room including lights, vents and ledges.
• Sanitizing surfaces below shoulder height and spot cleaning windows.
• Bathroom cleaning with germicidal solution, including toilets and dispensers.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners.
• Floor dusting or vacuuming with proper technique.
• Grounds care and outdoor cleaning tasks.
• Public areas cleaning and cobweb removal.
• Food court cleaning and tray washing.
• Floor sanitizing with germicidal solution.
• Inspection of room and ensuring correct furniture placement.
• Customer relations and service duties.
