Job summary

Onvo is seeking a dedicated House Person to maintain clean, orderly public spaces and support hotel operations. You will clean lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and assist with event spaces while collaborating with other departments.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public areas, including lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces, to established standards of cleanliness.
• Assist in setting up and tearing down meeting rooms, event spaces, or guest areas as required, including moving furniture and equipment.
• Replenish supplies in public restrooms and other designated areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to appropriate disposal areas.
• Perform light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, tightening loose fixtures, or reporting larger maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests for assistance or additional amenities.
• Transport linens, supplies, and equipment as needed throughout the property.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
