Job summary

Danville Area Community College is seeking Building Services Attendants to perform general cleaning and housekeeping across campus facilities. Staff operate vacuum cleaners, buffers, and other equipment to keep restrooms, offices, and classrooms clean and safe.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to follow instructions, lift items, and climb stairs. Employment is offered as full-time or part-time with duties including event setup and inventory of supplies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Capable of walking, climbing stairs, lifting, and using cleaners safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and housekeeping to keep buildings, rooms, and restrooms clean and sanitary.
• Use hand tools and power equipment to maintain floors, walls, carpets, and furniture.
• Replace light bulbs and replenish restroom supplies as needed.
• Wash windows/doors and dispose of trash appropriately.
• Set up and move furniture for events and assist with room set-ups.
