Job summary

Centre College is seeking a General Services Technician to support Facilities Management across events, furniture handling, and campus operations on site in Danville, KY. The role involves light to moderate physical work, operating vehicles for material transport, and assisting with building maintenance and safety compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and prior experience with event setup or warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.
• Experience in event setup, material handling, moving services, warehouse operations, facilities maintenance, or related work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, arrange, and remove tables, chairs, staging, and other equipment for campus events.
• Transport, load, unload, and assemble furniture and equipment as needed.
• Receive, verify, store, inventory, and distribute furniture, equipment, and supplies.
• Clean and maintain gutters, downspouts, rooftops, and other building areas.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations to support Facilities Management activities.
