Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Lead to supervise facility cleaning operations at a Greenville site. You will delegate tasks, guide team members, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, coordination with management, and efficient daily scheduling. Prior supervisory or customer service experience is preferred; a valid driver's license is beneficial for site coverage.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma, GED or college degree not required.
• Preferred: 1 year of customer service experience.
• Preferred: 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow assigned work schedules and report barriers.
• Provide leadership and direction to team members.
• Maintain open communication between field staff and management.
• Assist with daily and weekly work schedules.
• Oversee cleaning operations in the assigned building.
• Manage keys and access cards for the property.
• Report damaged, broken, or out-of-work features/items.
• Oversee and perform additional service requests as needed.
• Oversee quality of jobs and confirm completion with Area Manager.
• Provide training for new hires on onboarding procedures.
• Complete and validate time records for regular or subcontractor employees.
• Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
