Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Lead to oversee facility operations at an assigned site, delegating tasks and guiding staff to maintain clean, safe spaces for workers and customers.

The Lead supports the Manager in daily supervision, ensures adherence to policies, handles equipment and chemical use, and coordinates with management on client communications and service requests. This role involves onsite leadership and hands-on janitorial duties.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow assigned work schedules and route cards; report barriers.
• Provide leadership and direction to team members.
• Ensure open communication between field employees and management; monitor client communications.
• Assist in creating daily and weekly work schedules.
• Oversee and perform cleaning operations in the assigned building.
• Manage access keys and card security.
• Oversee and perform additional service requests; ensure timely completion with Area Manager.
• Provide training for new hires following onboarding procedures.
• Complete and validate time records for regular or subcontractor staff.
• Check supplies, equipment and chemicals weekly.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
