Job summary

The South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation Department is seeking a dedicated cleaning professional to maintain cleanliness of designated areas, restrooms and offices across facilities. You will follow safety practices, operate cleaning equipment correctly, manage supplies, and report issues to your supervisor to ensure a safe, welcoming workplace.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage cleaning supplies and maintain organized supply closets.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas, buildings and restrooms to maintain hygiene.
• Dust, sanitize surfaces and empty trash, disposing waste properly.
• Report issues to supervisor and complete daily checklists.
• Maintain grounds and landscape, ensure walkways are clear of debris.
• Adhere to safety signage and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Assist with trainings and stay certified in required safety areas.
