Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking team members for general maintenance and cleaning duties to uphold safety and sanitation standards across the club. You will gather and return carts from the parking lot, ensure access for members, and maintain clean facilities to support a positive shopping experience.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability and adherence to club policies, with opportunities to contribute to a member-first environment in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred.
• Prior retail/wholesale experience preferred.
• May be under 18 for some cart functions; over 18 to operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous service to members.
• Maintain cleanliness of the club floor, offices, restrooms and outdoor grounds.
• Gathers and returns carts/flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance.
• Ensure carts are well-stocked and in working order.
• Performs maintenance and cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping and trash removal.
• Restocks maintenance/cleaning supplies and keeps supply areas neat.
