Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is looking for a maintenance team member to uphold cleanliness and safety standards across club areas, including the sales floor, restrooms, offices, and outdoor spaces. You will gather, return, and stock carts, assist with cart corrals, and perform routine surface cleaning and minor repairs as needed.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a commitment to exceptional member experiences, with weekly pay and a benefits package supporting health and financial well-being.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
• Prior retail/wholesale experience preferred.
• May be less than 18 years of age to perform parking lot cart functions; must be over 18 to operate equipment and enter age-restricted areas.

Responsibilities

• Provides members with prompt and courteous service and maintains high standards of safety and sanitation.
• Maintains cleanliness of all club areas including sales floor, offices, restrooms and outdoor grounds.
• Gathers and returns carts and flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance; removes trash and debris.
• Ensures carts are stocked and in working order at the club entrance; removes worn carts from use.
• Performs general maintenance and cleaning duties across the club and assists other departments as needed.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job.
