Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking aMaintenance and Cleaning associate to uphold high safety and sanitation standards across the club. You will gather and return carts from the parking lot, ensure accessibility at the entrance, and support cleanliness of the sales floor and back areas.

This role emphasizes teamwork, fast execution, and a positive attitude while delivering friendly service to members and maintaining club policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
• May be less than 18 years of age to perform parking lot cart functions. Must be over 18 to operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous service and assistance to members.
• Maintain cleanliness of club floors, offices, restrooms, outdoor areas and parking lot.
• Move carts/flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance and ensure carts are in good working order.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks (mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, trash removal) and restock supplies.
• Operate floor scrubber, trash compactor and related equipment safely.
