Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a dedicated Maintenance/Janitorial Associate to perform general cleaning and maintenance across the club, ensuring high standards of safety and sanitation. You will gather and return carts, keep entrances and parking areas tidy, and support a safe, welcoming shopping environment for members.

The role emphasizes timely, reliable attendance, ability to work independently, and adherence to club policies while supporting overall store operations and member satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
• Prior retail/wholesale experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous maintenance and cleaning across the club.
• Maintain cleanliness of sales floor, restrooms, offices, and outdoor areas.
• Gathers and returns carts/flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance and keeps areas organized.
• Operate floor scrubber and cleaning equipment following safety standards.
• Respect club policies and maintain a safe environment for members and team members.
