Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is looking for a maintenance/janitorial team member to uphold high safety and sanitation standards across club areas, including the sales floor, restrooms, and outdoor spaces. You will manage carts, assist members, and perform routine cleaning to ensure a welcoming environment.

This role requires reliability with full attendance as an essential function, and prior maintenance or retail experience is preferred. Weekly pay and benefits support employee well-being and growth.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
• Prior retail/wholesale experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide members with prompt and courteous service and assistance. Maintains high standards of safety and sanitation for members and team members.
• Maintain the cleanliness of all areas of the club including the sales floor, offices, restrooms and the outdoor grounds and parking lot.
• Gathers and returns carts and flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance. Removes trash or debris from the parking lot, cart corrals, and exterior of the club.
• Ensures carts are well-stocked at the club entrance and are in working order and clean.
• Performs maintenance and cleaning duties including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, washing glass and trash removal.
• Maintains outdoor grounds and prioritizes maintenance and cleaning across the club.
